Ol' Skool Car Club is slated to host its annual car show at the historic Woodland Community Center on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Gates open at 11 a.m. with registration from Noon-3 p.m. All donations go directly to the Ol' Skool Car Club Scholars

CLINTON, La. - LouisEagle -- The Ol' Skool Car Club has a distinct history of service within its community. Its membership is comprised of a plethora of community leaders, including retired military members and veterans, educators, and much more. Known for their acts of charity and kindness throughout the ranks of the association, the club endeavors to do good in all its efforts. The scholarship is one of its many projects throughout the year and probably its most important. The club pushes education and fully supports students in every way possible.

The entry fee for vehicles is $20.00. Donations are $10.00. Entries will include trucks, antiques, ballers, race cars, sports cars, or any type of motor vehicle. Vendors are welcome!

The Woodland Community Center sits on the site of the historic Eighth Ward Elementary School in northern East Feliciana Parish. Eighth Ward Elementary was a self-sufficient, predominantly African-American school that was a leader in education and social reform. It spurned many successful African-American professionals, including educators, attorneys, nurses, and other entrepreneurs. Woodland Community Center is located at 10600 Rouchon Lane, Clinton, Louisiana 70722.
