NEW ORLEANS - LouisEagle -- Every family has one. The cousin who quotes every movie line at the cookout. The auntie who knows who sang it first. The friend who swears they called it before it went viral. Culture Check is the game that finally settles it.

Culture Check, from New Orleans studio Tech God Games, is a free game-show trivia game about Black American culture and its huge impact on entertainment around the world. From 70s soul to today's viral moments, it covers the music the world dances to, the shows everybody quotes, and the sayings that started with us and ended up everywhere.

Culture Check isn't just trivia. It's a whole game show, and you're the contestant. Show what you know, settle those chat debates, and find out who in your crew really knows the culture.

Quick Culture Check:
Where can you find 50 Cent?
In the street?
In the club?
In your pocket?
In your couch?

If you had to think about it, Culture Check is for you.

"Black Americans built so much of what the whole world calls entertainment," said TeeJey, founder of Tech God Games. "I wanted a game that celebrates that the way we celebrate: loud and proud, competitive, and with a little trash talk. If you go 7 for 7, you know the culture. If you don't... we gon' talk."

Culture Check first hit Google Play in 2023. Since then, TeeJey has rebuilt it from the ground up. The mobile app is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

One game. A whole lot of ways to play:

• Game-show rounds on music, classic Black TV and movies, sports and the internet's wildest moments, with new questions every week
• The Arcade: Group Chat, Picture This, Pop Off and more
• The Corner Store, where snacks power up your game
• 1-on-1 matches, daily challenges and a leaderboard
• Coming soon: a story mode where you start on the porch and work your way up to mogul
