BROUSSARD, La. - LouisEagle -- The Louisiana Golf Association and Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club have partnered to make historical strides in 2022. For the first time in the history of the Louisiana Golf Association, founded in 1920, the Louisiana Golf Association is hosting its 94th Louisiana Women's Amateur Championship over the course of a weekend at Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club. In its history, this specific tournament has been hosted on a weekday. Additionally, Mary Capouch of Mandeville, LA, has been selected to reside as the first female president of the LGA. Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club is honored to take part in such historical events relating to women in the golfing industry.
