BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- Henry Turner Jr.s' Listening Room Museum Foundation is pleased to announce Band Concert Series II. The three week performances by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor are from 9:00 to 10:00pm (CDT), beginning Friday, June 3 and end on Friday, June 17, 2022. They will take place live at Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room located at 2733 North Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The venue is open to all ages. The $10.00 admission fee comes with a soul food side dish. Soft drinks and snacks are available for purchase.
The weekly series will feature fan favorites and that include the "Baton Rouge Theme Song," "Louisiana" and "You Got Me Doin' What U Want." Band members are Jim Masters on drums, Larry "LZ" Dillon on bass, Ervin "Maestro" Foster on keys, with Lisa Harris on backing vocals. The series will also feature special guests and performances from Listening Room All-Stars Kelton 'Nspire Harper, guitarist Owen Scott and comedian Eddie "Cool" Deemer.

Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor are known for developing a syncopated style of music referred to as Louisiana blues, soul, reggae and funk. Their romantic ballads and upbeat dance tunes, with toe tapping rhythms, are also known for their tongue in cheek lyrics.
