BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- Are you looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate Galentine's Day this year? Look no further than a Galentine's Paint Night, and in-person and virtual event that brings together women for an evening of painting, laughter, and connection.
Galentine's is a holiday created by the popular TV show Parks and Recreation to celebrate the bond of female friendship. It has since become a popular tradition among women, who use the occasion to gather with their friends and show appreciation for one another.
The Galentine's Paint Night offers a perfect opportunity to do just that, while also indulging in the therapeutic benefits of painting. Research has shown that art can have a positive impact on mental health, reducing stress and anxiety and increasing feelings of happiness and well-being. The featured painting is a female pop singer on a colorful background.
Dates:
Participants will be guided through the painting process by artist and certified arts educator, Celeste Payne and will receive a paint kit with all the necessary materials. They will also have the chance to interact and connect with other women in a supportive and fun environment.
