BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- Henry Turner, Jr.'s Listening Room Museum Foundation is pleased to announce Henry Turner Jr.'s Solo Concert Series III. The five week music series will be performed by Henry Turner, Jr. and feature special guests. It begins on Saturday, May 25 and ends on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room located at 2733 North Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.

The series will feature selections from Turner's extensive music catalog and spans blues, soul, reggae and funk. Heartfelt ballads include the theme song from the documentary "Music Dreams…An American Story" entitled "Long As I Live," "Love Me or Leave Me" and "1 (One) Wish."  Blues song selections include "I Love My Soul Food," "Baton Rouge Theme Song" and "You Got Me Doin' What U Want."

During his thirty plus year career, award-winning singer/songwriter and storyteller Henry Turner Jr. has become known for a syncopated style of music that incorporates various genres, as well as toe tapping rhythms and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.
