BERWICK, La. - LouisEagle -- It is with great sadness that Baton Rouge has reported yet another drive by shooting that has injured our youth according to a report by WBRZ News Channel 2. Crime impacts our communities in serious ways.  As I hear about this latest happening, I often wonder what leads us to this senseless violence.  Members of East Baton Rouge City-Parish should depend on the leadership of Mayor Broome and her team of leaders at this time. I offer words of healing to the family of the wounded and hope for their speedy recovery. Members of the community, please share tips with Baton Rouge Police Department and the assigned investigative teams to assist in making our communities better. Please also stay focused on helping and supporting each other at all times within all communities to curb all violence in our neighborhoods. Mayor Broome, I offer full support in your Crime stopping initiatives that will MOVEBR forward.  East Baton Rouge community members, please be more vigilant at all times--sharing compassionate concern for each other.
