BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- In honor of Women's History Month, Black women's empowerment and lifestyle publication, SwagHer Magazine, will host a fresh take on wellness with Black Women Made Whole.

Sponsored by I'Mat Dream Brand, Black Women Made Whole is a wellness event for the intentional Black woman who likes to keep it real, to indulge in self-reflection and self-care. Designed to keep attendees engaged, the experience touches on empowerment, faith, grief, mental health, and self-love. This year's speakers include award-winning educational consultant and author Dr. LaNysha Adams; founder of Sistah Girl and doctoral student Dominique C. Dillard; grief recovery specialist and author Cynthia Williams, mental health advocate and life coach Dani Parks; and confidence coach and author Lid'ya C. Rivera.

The event begins with an hour of networking and shopping and then an hour and a half of presentations. Radio CEO and media personality Lady Tiffany Nicole will emcee the evening, and yoga practitioner Ebony Lambert will guide the group through a yoga exercise. Dani Parks will host a mini workshop, Can I Be Me?: Mindfulness & Self-Care.

Event sponsor I'Mat Dream Brand's Curator, Tami Curry, will lead Unlocking Your Limitless Potential: A Workshop for Empowered Living. When asked why the brand decided to take part in this experience, Curry says, "We have to curate this healing for ourselves. That's the only way we can continue forward in our goals, mission, and purpose in life. We have to tap into the resources that other people can bring, which also goes back to relationships. I am looking forward to this event".

I'Mat Dream Brand is a hair, skin, and body brand that inspires people to show up as their best magical versions of themselves. The company believes self-care should be an investment as opposed to an expense. Within six months of its opening, the brand landed a partnership with Walmart.com, and they have been moving ever since.

SwagHer Magazine CEO Francheska "Fancy" Felder is already planning for next year. "We've received lots of feedback that says this event is needed, and while that means a lot as a businesswoman, it means even more because this event came to me in spirit. I'm excited to see it all come together, and I am already thinking of ways we can make it better next year. This will be soul good."

Black Women Made Whole will take place on March 15, 2023, at 6 PM CST. To register for free tickets, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/black-women-made-whole-tickets-547939109627.
