ALEXANDRIA, La. - LouisEagle -- Alexandria Living is happy to announce that our October cover has been selected as a Best Version Media Captivating Cover contest winner. The cover was photographed by Rapides parish local photographer Abigail Blalock owner of Joy Collective Photography. With almost 80 applicants, the October cover of Alexandria living was one of only five total that the judges chose to feature as the Captivating Cover.

The photo perfectly captures the Halloween spirit of high school sweethearts, Daniel and Kimberly Noel, scaring their children out of the house. With a backdrop of their Charles Park home and a few hand props. The winning cover was featured on Best Version Media social media pages across North America just in time for Halloween. The photos were judged on creativity and originality based on the Halloween spirit captured in each photo entry. The judges also considered lighting, focus, and how well the photos showcased the families featured in a Best Version Media (BVM) publication.
