One hour music show, hosted by Henry Turner Jr. includes performances, interviews and music videos filmed at Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- "Henry's Listening Room," a one hour weekly music television series begins airing on WLAE, Channel 32 in New Orleans Saturday, November 8 at 9:00pm with repeats Wednesday at 3:00 and 9:00pm.

The 50 episodes feature original music performances, interviews and music videos from  genres around the world.

"Henry's Listening Room" is hosted by club owner and band leader Henry Turner Jr. He gives a sneak peek inside this classy Juke Joint. Each show includes songs by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor, the Listening Room All-Stars and commentary from band members, performers, touring acts and music business professionals.

Interviews include the The Listening Room All-Stars with spoken word artist Kelton 'Nspire Harper, singer/songwriters Owen Scott and Larry "LZ" Dillon, gospel/R&B singer Pastor Leon Hitchens, comedian Eddie "Cool" Deemer and poet Sir AP. Band members include drummers Jim Masters and Kerrick Sewll, bassists Larry "LZ" Dillon and King Solomon, keyboardists Ervin "Maestro" Foster, along with back up vocalists Molly Milne, Cindy Efferson, Lisa Anne Harris and Ras Wayne Vicks.

Additional acts include R&B/Gospel crooner Xavie Shorts, along with jazz band KB & the Backbeat. National touring acts include country singer/songwriters Hannah Belle and TJ Eubanks, Americana folk/rocker Jonathan Foster, acoustic rocker Brian Bielanski and pop/rocker CeCe Censor. Videos clips include blues great Chris Thomas King, New Orleans singer/songwriters Joy Clark and Ben E. Hunter, among others.

The series is produced by Turner Film Studios. Executive Producer is Henry Turner, Jr., with producers Henry Turner, Jr. and Marcia Groff.

Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room was founded in 2014. It is located at 2733 North Street in Baton Rouge and is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The club's focus is on original material. Local, regional and national touring acts of all genres play their songs, perform their poetry, spoken word and comedy. It is place where Henry firmly believes "Stars will be made."

Henry Turner Jr. is well-known for developing a syncopated style of music referred to as Louisiana blues, soul, funk and reggae as it describes the evolution of his musical journey. He is the recipient of a Slim Harpo Music Ambassador Award and been named an Honorary Music Ambassador by the Lt. Governor's Office and the Louisiana Office of Tourism. He also has commendations from the City of Baton Rouge having October 28, 2015 and 2017 proclaimed Henry Turner Jr. Day.

"Henry's Listening Room" is currently airing in national and international syndication.
