Cleaning For A Reason-cleaning for cancer patients
BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- In the crazy world we are living in these days, it is so refreshing to hear about businesses who are giving back to their community. Guarantee Maid Services of Baton Rouge Louisiana is one such company!

Guarantee Maids has been in business for nearly 40 years, founded by Ellen Folks, and later joined by her daughter Lauren. Over the years they have looked for a meaningful way to give back to their local community. When they found Cleaning for a Reason, they knew that it was the perfect fit for them! In fact, they were one of the first chapter members of Cleaning for a Reason in Louisiana.

Ellen says, "People struggling with cancer have better things to worry about other than cleaning their homes, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give back to the community." Folks said when she discovered the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation, she knew this is how she could give back to so many more women who are struggling and suffering from cancer.

Cleaning for a Reason has traditionally provided cleaning services for women battling cancer. Their partner companies have provided free or subsidized cleaning services once a month for two months while women are in active treatment, recovering from surgery or in hospice care. Recently, Cleaning for a Reason has extended this and are now able to provide cleaning services to men and families with children as well because they recognized that regardless of who is receiving treatment, the impact that a clean home has on a cancer patient's physical, mental, and emotional well-being is paramount to their peace of mind and that of their loved ones.
