The Feliciana Wildflower Festival Committee is seeking entries for the Photo Contest for its inaugural festival to be held in locations across East Feliciana Parish, including downtown Clinton and Jackson, Louisiana.

CLINTON, La. - LouisEagle -- Photo entries should depict wildflowers in their natural habitat or even in gardens.

The Photo Contest includes three categories as follows:
  • Amateur Kids
  • Amateur Adults
  • Professional Photographers
Photographers are encouraged to submit their photographs as soon as possible. Entries may be submitted via email to felicianawildflowerproject@gmail.com or in person at 9752 Plank Road, Clinton, Louisiana 70722. Photos should be creative, aesthetically pleasing and exciting. If emailed, the subject line should state "Festival Photo Contest Submission" and include in the email, the name of the photographer, along with contact information to include, mailing address and telephone number. If the photographer is a minor, the parent or guardian's contact information should also be included. If the submission is being made in person, please add the above information to an envelope containing a copy of the photograph.

The winner in each category will receive a recognition plaque, write-up on our Facebook page and inclusion in a press release, following the Feliciana Wildflower Festival.
