CLINTON, La. - LouisEagle -- In honor of the upcoming 200th Birthday Celebration of the Town of Clinton, Louisiana, designs and applications are being accepted by the Clinton Is Home committee for official artwork that will represent the historic celebration marking the town's inception. Clinton, Louisiana is located in East Feliciana Parish and is the town seat of one of the oldest parishes in the state.

The contest is open to all current and former residents of East Feliciana Parish. Graphic artists and designers are encouraged to use their imagination to design a beautiful representation of the Town of Clinton and its rich history, whether that be a depiction of agriculture, business, social, or historic buildings, or any other medium the designer can conceptualize. Entries, including the original design and application, may be submitted by one of the following:
  • Drop off at The Green Door at H Mercantile (12408 St. Helena Street, Suite B, Clinton, Louisiana 70722)
  • Email to clintonishome@gmail.com
  • Mail to 12408 St. Helena Street, Clinton, Louisiana 70722
  • Facebook Messenger to The Clinton Is Home Facebook page

The winner will receive a complimentary t-shirt, poster and a special gift. All entries must be accompanied by an application. A Bake Sale is also being planned for August 3, 2024, with more information coming soon on both the sale and the October 5, 2024 Clinton Bicentennial Celebration Event. The design contest winner will be announced at the Bake Sale.
