Mattress Doctor Lafayette gets creative in methods of raising money for charity and adopting rescues. Owner, Whitney 'Mattress Mike' Segura hopes to inspire other entrepreneurs and businesses to think out of the box and make a difference in the world.
LAFAYETTE, La. - LouisEagle -- Local brothers Stew 'T-Stew' Segura and Whitney 'Mattress Mike' Segura are proud Cajuns and loyal neighbors to the people of Acadiana. Together, the two brilliant minds created the company Mattress Doctor of Lafayette. Many people haven't heard of the company, but those who have are often become customers for life.
Why is this?
We love our customers, local businesses and entrepreneurs. Shoppers are not hurried or pushed towards a product.

Fundraising:
10% of weekend sales are donated to the groups. Normally, were closed on Sunday, but Mattress Mike volunteered for Sun 11/18 10am-2pm to raise additional funds.

Offers bulk discounts at 5+ beds, for those buying lots of products will get wholesale furniture and mattress pricing. They've sold to the U.S. Army and many others, that's how tasty prices are.
Adoption Events:
On Saturday November 27th, 2021 from 10am-3pm, the 4th animal rescue adoption event will feature cats and dogs & work with 3 local rescue organizations;
Inventory:
The company has about 35-40 models of mattresses, daybeds, bed frames, headboards, footboards, pillows and sheets from over 10 national brand names. Everything is brand new and in original plastic. Customers typically save 45-80% off retail store prices, including delivery fees.
Financing:
$40 down plus 100 days to pay it off without paying extra interest. No cred check.
