BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room Museum Foundation is pleased to announce the Talent, Film Lineup and Sponsors for the 3rd Annual (Neighbor) Hood Fest. The event will be held Saturday, July 18 from noon to 8:00pm at the EBRPL-Main Library located at 7711 Goodwood Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.

Musical talent includes Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and the Listening Room All-Stars including King Solomon, Ervin "Maestro" Foster Jim Masters, Princess Teha and Dixie Rose. New to the festival are (Louisiana) Claude Hitt, David Comeaux and Rude. Returning acts are SmokeHouse Porter and the Gut Bucket Blues Band, Crossfire and Ms. Pressure.

The film component this year focuses on travel, adventure and music industries in Louisiana. Filmmakers Oscar Tickle, who produced The Search for "Swamp Cows" and "The Secret Dark Side of Imported Shrimp," and Charles Bush who produced "Music Dreams, An American Story" will be on site for Q&A's. Music video blocks from the 2025 Listening Room Film Festival are 'Made In Louisiana' and 'Listening Room Alumna.'

Sponsors include Lamar Advertising, EPRPL-Main Library, Blue Runner, WBRZ2+ and their affiliated stations, Visit Baton Rouge, Vernon Thomas, Esq., Frankie's Dawg House, Joyful Jumps and Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room Museum Foundation.

The 3rd Annual (Neighbor) Hood Festival is family friendly and free to the public. In addition to live music and films it has a Vendor's Village, Food Court, Children's Play area and Hot Dog Eating Contest. A Pre-party will be held on Thursday, July 16 from 7:00pm to midnight at Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room located at 2733 North Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. It is $30.00 and includes a buffet. No host bar.
