Team Hope Foundation Bridges the Digital Divide: Empowering Youth with Technical Skills & Financial Literacy
NEW ORLEANS - LouisEagle -- TEAM HOPE and AT&T's "I AM CONNECTED" program provided over 500 free laptops to students at Warren Easton High School in New Orleans. This initiative addressed the needs of underserved communities by offering digital inclusion through tailored programs. Percy "Master P" Miller stated, "It's all about providing inner-city kids with computers, uplifting future leaders, and impacting the community. Team Hope Foundation is all about giving hope and making a difference. Today was a blessing."
AT&T Louisiana President David Aubrey emphasized, "Connection changes everything, especially for those less fortunate, and it's amazing to have a partnership with Team Hope and Master P." The students were all smiles when they not only received free computers but also two years of tech support and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel from Compudopt. Miller addressed the students, adding, "None of you owe us anything. Just make sure you give back when you make it and keep this going, helping the next generation."
