- Broadmoor High School annual arts & crafts festival returns Fall of 2025
For more than half a century, Broadmoor High School has been home to one of the most popular arts and crafts festivals in Louisiana. It is known to many locals as a school fundraiser.
BATON ROUGE, La. - LouisEagle -- To others, the festival is a place to purchase just about anything, from Christmas gifts and treats, to snacks, and so much more. This year will feature more than 100 vendors.
Once home to over 300 vendors, the festival became a casualty of the Covid pandemic. Last year, it was revived and the trek to regain prominence began. It is well on its way back to its heyday. This year's festival includes both outside and student vendors, a food truck roundup, and holiday activities that includes face painting, pictures with Santa, petting zoo, and a snow play area that is sure to be a hit with attendees.
The mission is to nurture the artistic talents of the students, provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work and raise essential funds to enhance the school's programs and facilities. By fostering a love for the arts and crafts and entrepreneurial spirit, we are not only enriching our students' educational experiences but also strengthening the bonds within our community. Together we can craft a brighter future. The long-standing tradition began in 1973 and grew to become the primary fundraiser for one of East Baton Rouge Parish's largest and most diverse high schools. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Broadmoor High School is located at 10100 Goodwood Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.
