LAFAYETTE, La. - LouisEagle -- Award-winning children's book series, The Alycat Series, by Alysson Foti Bourque is expanding, thanks to young readers who turn to books as resources for life skills and the acquisition of the entire series by Pelican Publishing, an imprint of Arcadia Publishing.
The Alycat Series teaches children that they can fix any problem using imagination, creativity, and the support of their friends.
"I hope Alycat and her friends will encourage young readers to find their special gifts, shine brightly, and support their peers around them," said Bourque. "I am thrilled to have Pelican Publishing acquire and re-release the entire Alycat Series. With their impressive roster of authors and unparalleled reputation in the publishing industry, I am honored that Alycat has a new place to call home."
The Alycat Series features five titles, with the highly-anticipated sixth releasing in March, 2023: Alycat and the Thursday Dessert Day, Alycat and the Monday Blues, Alycat and the Friendship Friday, Alycat and the Tournament Tuesday, Alycat and the Cattywampus Wednesday, and Alycat and the Sleepover Saturday (2023).
